Small Connection Groups
Small Connection Groups are gatherings of 6-12 people that meet throughout the week and are facilitated and hosted by a leader team. These groups meet to explore God’s Word and connect with each other in genuine relationships. They are an excellent way to grow spiritually, as you pray together, ask questions, join discussions, hear others share insights and experiences, learn to serve and have fun. It’s a place where life change happens. If you’re looking to build healthy, God-centered relationships and grow in your relationship with Christ, then join a Small Connection Group at CPC today!
Small Connection Groups
Why are Small Connection Groups important? God never intended for us to live life alone. Life is meant to be lived in community. We strive for church to be more than a place where you hear a great message and stirring music. It’s easy to get lost in the crowd on Sunday morning, so Connection Groups are places where you can know others and be known by them – the real you, without pretense or disguise.
One of our small connection groups is meeting Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm and is hosted by Stacie, and it is for the ladies. Our group is meeting at Bashas’ at River Rd and La Cholla Blvd. We are studying the Gospel of John. Our next meeting is on October 8.
Our latest small connection group is for men and women and meets Monday evenings at 6:00 pm and is hosted by Louie and Gina. This group meets at the church in the Kidz Konnextion classroom. We are studying Max Lucado’s “Help Is Here: Finding Fresh Strength and Purpose in the Power of the Holy Spirit“. This is a five session study, which began on Monday, September 30 and runs through Monday, October 28.
