Communion: Remembrance

Four benefits in remembering.

  1. It keeps us from being casual in remembering Him.
  2. Draws it into a deeper level of love for Jesus.
  3. Draws us into a deeper commitment to live our lives for Him.
  4. Keeps us mindful that God has never forgotten us.

Luke 22:19 (NIV) 19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
